Where ? This tour takes you to the coast and inland West of Nice
We will start in Cannes for an orientation tour of the famous city of the International Film Festival in May, then to Antibes along the scenic coastline, for a visit of the ancient greek and roman city which has kept many of its treasures, and will spend time in the lively outdoor market.
I will reveal you many unique secrets such as the underground Absinthe bar amongst other secrets.
Then to Vence, a roman walled city where we will explore the medieval alleys. Option to enjoy a local lunch in a beautiful Provencal square with colourful facades or have a picnic if you prefer.
Then to the famous Renaissance walled village of St Paul de Vence, chosen as a home base by the most famous modern artists of the 20th century such as Marc Chagall, Picasso and Calder.
After some free time to wander the cute cobble-stones paved medieval streets filled with many art galleries, we will return using a different way.
