Where ? This visit shows you in depth in the most interesting and ancient city of the French Riviera, Nice

We start with the oldest part of Nice, the Roman ruins in the hill of Cimiez for a visit of the roman baths and arenas from the 1st century AD.

Possibility of entering the Archeological Museum with on site well preserved vestiges and interesting maquettes of the Roman city of Cemenelum.

On the way, you will admire the previous elegant mansions and luxurious Belle Epoque hotels for the winter tourists from all Europe in the 19th century.

Then to Old Nice, with its colourful facades from the 16th and 17th centuries where you will admire the only baroque churches of France with ornate facades. We will wander in the flower and food market and you will learn about the local specialties of the most Italian of the french cities.

After a local lunch, visit of the Hill of the Castle where used to be the most threatened fortress of the Mediterranean bassin. We will end the tour with the most visited site of Nice, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral still in activity, and used by Russian Orthodox who restored it recently. No entrance feerequired.

You will marvel at the gold-covered onion domes and when entering the religious building from 1912, discover its rich interior with many precious gold and silver icons. Learn why such a uniquely rich church in Nice, and who was attending mass here in the last century.

Finally, we will end this complete tour with a drive at the famous water-front promenade names after the English who built it in the 19th century. Return to where we started the tour.
